‘Grand Vista’ show – Dance, Fashion, Music, Art. Where all these factors meet as one.

Yoko Honda (Grand Vista Executive Producer) is a composer for media, and a music producer based in Los Angeles. She has been trained as a classical musician in her early career, later on moved to England where she studied at Paul McCartney’s art institution. Pop, Rock, Jazz, Theatre music – those music opened up her new musicality, and later on she moved to the US to work for the Film & TV industry, to make the most of her unique and global experiences as a sound creator.
Not only film works, she has won various awards from songwriting competition to art installation projects. She has been featured as an emerging composer couple of times in Japan, England and the US. http://yokohondamusic.com

And Katrin Pettersson – Set designer from Sweden, with a background in music and dance. She has been working as an emerging set designer on dance and theatre productions in Asia and Europe, focusing on international collaborations. As she studied in North Carolina in her early career, she is familiar with the American culture and draws from her experiences from around the world to develop her own unique designs. With the intention to further develop her sound/stage technology skills at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, she gained an interest in design and carpentry, eventually strolling over to set design. Since then, Kat has been working on productions such as Cuento de Navidad and White Shadow, before returning to Sweden making sets for various companies, including Crowd Company, Norrdans and RiskTeatern. http://katrinpettersson.com

With the several years of planning process, having many amazing dance professionals as models, and having many great supporters, this Grand Vista show has finally sailed into the great journey with the endless, and infinite possibilities. 【Chapter 1. Guest Designer】 Kimono designer, professional Sueko Oshimoto, and her team “SUEHIEO” has been actively working for Film & TV wardrobe department in Los Angeles, as well as teaching how to dress traditional Kimono.
They have also produced great models, including Miss Asia, for their competition. Sueko has been featured and worked together with Vogue magazine lately, and her great imagination often involves outside the Japanese tradition –the Kimono- world. 「Grand Vista」—それは、新たなエンターテイメント。 Los Angelesならではのエンターテイメントの贅沢の極みを尽くしたショー。 それが「Grand Vista」 。 音、踊り、空間を色彩るアート。
そして、それらを一つに結ぶ、ファッション。

他では見られない、グローバルな輝き。
「音のフュージョン」「モデルダンサー」 「 空間アートデザイン」「異文化融合のドレス」 という、それぞれ全く新しい概念の元に生まれる、 唯一つの物語。

スウェーデン、日本、アメリカ。
全てのアートへの熱い想いが、数年の時を経て、今ここに誕生します。

コンセプトから楽曲、ダンス、ショーのテーマ、そしてもちろん衣装に至るまでの 全てがオリジナルであり、このショーの為だけに生み出されます。

第一章は「月と太陽」。
「Grand Vista」という壮大な物語の幕開けにふさわしい一夜が、 皆さんをお待ちしています。
この物語の続きは、ぜひ会場にて。 ＊Yoko Honda… (総合演出・プロデューサー／音楽監督)　日本出身。絶対音感の持ち主と分かった２才の頃より音楽の道を歩き始め、パフォーマーとして数々の舞台に出演。その後19才で日本を離れ単身留学、イギリスはリバプールにて、作曲の道に目覚める。後にアメリカはノースキャロライナ州で映像音楽を中心とする作編曲を専攻、博士号を取得。数年前、満を持してロサンゼルスに移住、以後拠点を構える。現在までにEMI & 英国大使館主催 SongオーディションNo.1ダウンロード、NYC発アートショー世界ツアー「60x60」へ４度選抜、手がけた映画で「Award of Excellence」などを獲得。その独自の世界観を駆使した音楽で、オーケストラからダンス音楽、映画/TVや他アーティストのプロデュースまでグローバルに手がける。ロサンゼルスでも注目の新人音楽家。

＊Katrin Pettersson… (舞台・セットデザイン)　スウェーデン出身。幼い頃から音楽やダンス、音響工学を勉強する傍ら、アートの世界にも強い興味を示す。パフォーマーとして数々の経験を積んだ後、自身のアートの世界はセットデザインにあると確信、セットデザイナーとしての道を歩み始める。アメリカは東海岸、イギリスはリバプールにてグローバルに学んだ後、現在の拠点であるスウェーデン・ヨーテボリに移住。これまでに、シンガポール、イギリス、スペイン、スウェーデン　他世界数カ国にてプロジェクトを手がけ、その腕は各地で絶賛の声を集めている。シアターのプロジェクトを多く手がける他、美術館やアートギャラリー等の室内を中心とするアート・インスタレーションの数々をも得意とする、新進気鋭のデザイナーである。

 ＊SUEHIRO Kimono Agency… (GV第一章ゲスト衣装デザイナー)　アメリカはハリウッドのエンターテイメント業界で活動している、日系唯一の着物衣装専門スペシャリスト・エージェンシー。その活動はデザインから着付けの講習、写真撮影、映画の衣装まで多岐に渡る。代表の押元末子はその道25年以上のプロフェッショナル。
山野流着装教室のLA支部として着付け師の育成にも力を入れる傍ら、数多くのファッションショーや映画のワードローブを手がけるなど、伝統を守りつつ着物の新しい形を独自に取り入れ、世界各地から注目を集めている。最近では、ファッション雑誌「Vogue」に取り上げられる、大手アメリカファストフードチェーン「Taco Bell」のCM撮影に参加する等、今ロサンゼルスでも最も勢いのあるBrand Newフェース。
